That makes a lot of sense Andy. This is my framework. Evolutionary psychology. Women are actually whore inside but doesn’t want to look that way. Before marriage I hold all the card, so she shut up. After marriage, she holds half of my card. Humans naturally get mad at those they perceived as weak.
Anyway, my marriage is not that bad. I still enjoy fucking her. If I have a son, I’ll explain to him how to do this more cost effectively.
And men are really just johns. Each of us want to get as many women as possible. 90% of us are not hot enough to get it for free unless we kick out those paying more from the market. So we have this dynamic where we prohibit paying for sex, but paying for it anyway in the form of chocolates, flowers, dinners, marriage, etc. The rest is political games of differentiating what’s really equal. If I can’t pay cash, why can’t I pay with gold coins? Ouch, the rule is set so all consideration is illegal. Great. However, offering a ring and life time alimony is okay.
In fact, it’s so convoluted that legally speaking there is no such thing as marriage contract. Surprised? Government doesn’t treat marriage as a contract and you can’t make your own contract. Anyone that say that people have a right to get married because it’s their choice is deliberately ignoring so many other choices made illegal. So you are “free” to make this stupid life long monogamous commitment, but you’re not free to promise simple cash commitment. At the end, politicians in all of us, is the one that win the girls rather than the businessmen in us. It’s just like in Afghanistan.
As for other humans. They are easily predictable too. Basically humans do not like the best and brightest to reproduce. They come up with many ways to prevent that from happening. The best genes will simply out compete mediocre genes under full commercialization the way iPhone obliterate pagers or computer obliterate type writers.
What I want to see is not really commercialization of sex. What I want to see is letting free market govern who you end up reproducing with. Let men and women pick who they think are the best genes for their babies.
Now. Explain to me why commercialization of reproductive service is prohibited in Canada?
Let me guess? It’s demeaning to be a sperm or egg donor?
They’ll come up with something to explain away their bigotry. From genocide, to pogrom against the bourgeois, to prohibition of sex outside marriage, and now this. It all share one common thread. Reduction of gene pool survival of the superior while helping the inferior reproduce.
